Fish Floss is a permanent and reusable biological filter media. Designed to expand or compress to fit any shape, one roll will fill from 3.5 ft to 3.7ft. Fish Floss can be used in fresh or salt water and in many types of filters: up flow, down flow, open top, closed top with pressure, up flow biological waterfall filters, canister-type pond filters, wet/dry or trickle filters, low flow vortex type, sedimentation tanks, homemade or commercial filters and large aquarium filters. It can also be used above the bed in fluidize filters. Use it for degassing water by pouring down through a series of open-bottomed containers.
